The cd was not released at the same time as the LP, only the cd and cassette contain the 4 'Sweet Children EP' songs. Taken off the Lookout catalogue in 2005 and re-issued on Reprise in 2007. Also put out through Epitaph in Europe,
Qoute about the photo on the back:
"The picture on the back cover of Kerplunk is my backyard in Tucson in the spring(?) of ’91. They play with Horace Pinker and some other phoenix band.. Can’t remember their name.
The cops shut down the show right after Green Day came on and they had to finish off the set unplugged, hence, the acoustic guitar.
We charged 4.09 at the door and that paid for the 2 kegs and 65$ bucks for Green Day."
