Billie Joe Armstrong: Guitar, Vocals D.O.B.: February 17, 1972 Other band: Pinhead gunpowder, has played with: Corrupted Morals, Goodbye Harry, Blatz, Crummy musicians, Rancid (co-wrote 'Radio' and played one show with them) Note: Started playing with Mike at very young age. First formed 'Sweet Children' in 1988 which was later renamed to Green Day. Writes most of the songs.	Mike Dirnt (Michael Pritchard): Bass, Vocals D.O.B.: May 4, 1972 Other bands: The Frustrators, has played with: Screeching Weasel, Squirtgun, Crummy Musicians. Note: Started the band with Billie Joe, wrote some of the songs (J.A.R., Emenius sleepus, Ha ha you're dead)	Tre Cool (Frank Edwin Wright III): Drums D.O.B.: December 9, 1972 Other bands: - Has played with: The Lookouts, SamIam, Screeching Weasel Note: Debutes on the Kerplunk LP, joined Green Day after he left the Lookouts.
John Kiffmeyer (aka Al Sobrante): Drums D.O.B.: ? Age: 2 or 3 years older than Billie Joe & Mike Other bands: The Ne'er Do Wells Note: Played on 1,000 Hours, 39/smooth, Slappy and the Sweet Children EP, then left the band and went to college.	Dave E.C.: Drums Other bands: Filth, Wynona Riders, Pot Valiant, Vagrants Note: He was in the band for a few weeks after Al Sobrante left, he placed himself out of the band. Didn't play drums on any record but was given credit on the Kerplunk LP.	Jason White.: Guitar Other bands: Pinhead Gunpowder, The influents Note: Plays with Green Day live since Warning LP	Aaron 'Cometbus' Elliot: Roadie Bands: Crimpshrine, Pinhead Gunpowder, Shotwell Coho, Cleveland Bound Death Sentence, Redmond shooting star, Sweet Baby and many more. Note: Went on tour with them (first 5 tours). Then went into another direction because Green Day went for succes.
